NIS Community Activities

Dear NIS Community,

Our mission at Nanjing International School is to promote our school as a community resource, with special focus on the Nanjing expatriate community and the Ya Dong local community. In line with this goal we would like to welcome you to use our school facilities beyond regular school hours!

Our NISCA ( Nanjing International School Community Activities) offers a wide range of interesting, educational and enriching activities on a cost-only basis. We hope that you will join our program and share the many opportunities we offer to make your life here a more colorful and interesting experience!

Thank you very much to all of the NIS students, parents, staff and friends for the suggestions on designing the NISCA program and for the excellent feedback provided. We welcome you to offer your talents by leading some of the activities.

Our community activities are a great success. They turned many “impossibles” into “possibles”! As an example we have participants transformed from timid admirers of the skill of using two brushes in one hand to becoming truly Chinese painting artists themselves.

Since we initiated this program in September 2006 our program has gained momentum due to increasing interests. Based on this solid foundation, we are looking forward to offering more exciting activities this year.
